Creating a Price Guarantee claim
Find the order this claim is for
In the top-right of the claims page you will see a button labeled New Claim. Clicking this button will present you with our order search dialog:
Enter the order number and email address for the order in question, then click 🔍Search.
If you believe an order should be protected but you cannot find it, please contact us via support@parcelify.com.
Review your order
The Parcelify Protect order page will list all line items and coverages for this order. If a claim has been made they will be listed underneath the products in each coverage type.
Since we are submitting a price guarantee claim, scroll down to the price guarantee section of your listed coverages and click the [New Claim] button:

Review your line items
At the top of the claim page you will see a list of products associated with this order. Here you can tell us which items the claim is for, how many items are being claimed, and how much coverage is being sought for each item.
In the example above you can imagine your customer checking out with a product that originally retailed for $841.65 but your marked down 741.65 shortly thereafter. In the first entry you would submit 1 of 1 products are being claimed, and that the sale amount is $741.65.
Provide the customer request
Here you can attach a copy of the customer’s request to you, as well as any additional information relevant to the customer and order in question.
To attach a file, drag it to the box with the dotted outline (desktop) or click the [Add files] button and navigate to the files you’d like to add.
Attach evidence of discount
For our records, we ask that you provide clear evidence of the discount your customer is claiming, as well as the duration of this discount.
Most browsers support printing an entire page to PDF. If you navigate to the applicable discount in your Shopify admin panel and print the page, you can attach it here.
Comments and claim amount
The last part of the new claim page is a place to enter any additional information you think may be helpful in processing this claim. We want to approve your claim as efficiently as possible, so please be detailed!
Finally, the last section lists the claim amount total based on the line items you selected and the difference between the original and sale prices for each item.
In our earlier example we had a single product which was put on sale with a $100 discount. The image above demonstrates that this claim will be for $100 - the difference between the gross product price and sale price.
Submit the claim!
Take a moment to review the information you entered. If everything looks good to you, scroll to the top of the claim page and click the Save button (top right) to submit your claim.
Parcelify will review and update your claim as soon as possible. Please watch the email associated with your store for any correspondence requesting more information. If you need to edit or update claim information you can do so by accessing the claims page, selecting it from the list, making any necessary changes, then saving the claim once more.
